  • 3 Amazing Laneige Products You Should Try

I am a huge hydration skincare junkie. There is something so inherently satisfying about taking a huge blob of hydrating face mask or moisturizer and lathering my face and neck in it. Since I live in cold countries where dry skin in the winter is my absolute nemesis, a good hydrating product is my one true skin savior.

Speaking of hydrating products, we have all heard such wonders about Korean Skincare and the most easily accessible and popular ones (and easy to find) are Laneige products! They do a variety of cult beauty products so, of course, I got three of the products to try out for myself. Here is a review.

    Laneige Skincare Products

    Laneige Water Bank Hydrating Gel

My favorite type of moisturizers are almost always GEL based and Laneige products really nail this. The moment the Water Bank Gel Cream makes contact with your skin, it has such a cooling effect! It’s actually quite fantastic for summer time since it’s super lightweight and gets absorbed very quickly. The only con I find is the strong perfumey fragrance, which one can find to be a little overpowering, but nothing so bad that you can’t get used to it. So far, I have been using it quite religiously all winter long and it has kept all the dryness at bay (does WONDERS post exfoliation). I feel like this is such a fab product for oily/combination skin , however maybe not the best choice if you have SUPER dry skin since it is relatively lightweight.

    Laneige Water Bank Eye Gel

I’m a creature of habit when it comes to eye care products. For the past two years I have stuck to my three go to eye creams and seldom wandered to any other products. HOWEVER, the Laneige Water Bank Eye Gel was totally worth trying and is the latest addition to my eye care products. It glides under the eye like such a lightweight dream and also has a really plumping and cooling effect, which I have come to love first thing in the morning.

Do keep in mind that it’s packed with a lot of ingredients and those with sensitive skin should patch test first!

    Laneige Water Bank Sleeping Mask

EVERYONE has heard of the Water Bank Sleeping Mask since the hype is so real. It literally has a cult following for a reason. Not to be a mushy raver, this has to be one of the best overnight masks that I have tried (right after the Lancôme Énergie De Vie Sleeping Mask). One of my main pros for this product is it’s affordability. Even if you use a LOT of this product, at $30 CAD/£20 GBP it’s so manageable to replace on a regular basis.

I also find this to be especially useful product for lazy evenings when I am dangerously not bothered to follow through my entire skincare routine. You will wake up to such plump and supple skin (I am ALL about immediate results), so it really is a lazy girl’s best friend.

    Laneige Water Bank Sleeping Mask

Here is how Laneige explains their specific skincare tech:

Sleep-Tox™A purification technology to help calm skin from damage and external stressors that skin suffers during the day. Antioxidant-rich Hunza Apricot and Evening Primrose work throughout the night to purify fatigued skin.

Hydro Ionized Mineral WaterFormulated with 6 moisture-maximizing minerals—zinc, manganese, magnesium, sodium, calcium and potassium—that are ionized and stabilized in water to penetrate quicker and deeper into skin*. It provides Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF), similar to skin’s own moisturizing agents, to circulate and retain long-lasting moisture.*

Moisture Wrap™An exclusive technology that features a mineral network of moisture-rich beta-glucan to form an 8-hour time-release moisturizing layer over skin. It locks in active ingredients and mineral water.

    Packaging

Quick bit on a small product detail…I absolutely love holding the sturdy blue glass jars! Something so satisfying and even cooling to look at when it comes to this + unlike MANY other jar products on the market, this one actually comes with a little spatula to maintain hygiene and scoop out the perfect amount of product instead fishing around in it with your fingers (yeesh).

    Verdict

I am genuinely a fan of these three products above. I would definitely say to give these a try if you are looking to switch up your hydrating game!
